What is TempShare?
TempShare helps individuals and teams move files quickly when email attachments are too large, chat apps compress media, or you only need a file available for a limited time.
TempShare (exact application name) is a web application for temporary file upload and download. End users can upload files and receive access links without creating a public social profile. Authorized operators can manage files, accounts, and storage configuration for each deployment.
What TempShare does: accept a file upload, store it temporarily, issue a short-lived download URL, serve the file to anyone with that URL until expiry, then clean up expired content automatically.
What TempShare does not do: permanent cloud drive storage, social networking, advertising, or resale of personal information.
Depending on operator configuration, sign-in features — including Google Sign-In / OAuth where enabled — may be used for administrator access or account-related functions. When Google authentication is used, only the scopes required to identify the signed-in user and operate the Service are requested.

Authentication & Google OAuth

The application requesting Google OAuth permission is named TempShare. TempShare’s public upload experience is designed to work without forcing every visitor through a sign-in wall. When authentication is enabled for administrators or account features, the operator may offer Google Sign-In.
Why TempShare may request Google account access:
- Identify the signed-in user for administrator or account features
- Create and maintain a secure authenticated session
- Authorize access only to features the operator has enabled
If you sign in with Google, we may receive:
- Your Google account email address
- Your name and profile identifier (subject)
- Any additional data you explicitly approve on Google’s consent screen
We use that data to:
- Authenticate you and maintain a secure session
- Authorize access to operator or account features
- Protect the Service against abuse
We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not sell it. You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions. After revocation, features that depend on Google authentication may stop working until you sign in again.

Do I need an account to upload?

How long do files stay available?
Links are temporary. A common default is multi-day expiration with automatic cleanup of expired or long-idle files. Do not treat TempShare as a backup system.
Who can download my file?

What content is not allowed?
